About Us
I’m Amir, a tourism professional based in Paris. I studied tourism and built my career through hands-on experience in guided tours, cultural sites, and hospitality.
Joon Dog Tours began while traveling with my dog, Joon. During our trips, we noticed a recurring problem. In many cities around the world, quality tourism services for travelers with dogs were rare. Most guided tours did not allow pets. Dog owners often had to skip visits or leave their companions behind.
Paris was different.
While exploring the city with Joon, we discovered how dog-friendly Paris can be when trips are well planned. Parks, neighborhoods, and walking routes offered a relaxed and authentic way to experience the city. Traveling with a dog changed our pace and deepened our connection to the places we visited.
That experience led to the creation of Joon Dog Tours. We designed guided tours specifically for dogs traveling with their human companions. These tours focus on comfort, safety, and enjoyment for dogs. At the same time, they offer rich cultural experiences for humans.
And yes, we are human-friendly too.
From the start, travelers and professionals responded very positively to this idea. Today, we offer several services for tourists traveling with their four-legged friends. You can discover them on our Tours page.
Joon Dog Tours started as a small independent company. In a short time, we received important opportunities to grow. We approached each one with care, respect, and professionalism.
We are now recognized as a professional tourism company by major historical and cultural monuments in France. This recognition allows us to organize guided visits for groups at iconic sites. These include the Château of Versailles, the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museum, the Orangerie Museum, and the Eiffel Tower.
This step allowed us to expand our services for travelers visiting Paris without dogs. Our licensed guides lead high-quality tours focused on history, culture, and clear storytelling. These tours follow the same standards of quality that define Joon Dog Tours.
At the same time, we created a practical solution for travelers visiting monuments where pets are not allowed. While guests enjoy a guided visit inside, their dogs take part in a nearby dog-friendly walking tour. This approach avoids leaving dogs alone in hotel rooms and keeps the experience stress-free.
Today, Joon Dog Tours offers three types of experiences:
- Tours designed for dogs
- Tours designed for humans
- Tours designed for humans and dogs together
This structure allows every traveler to enjoy Paris in the way that suits them best.
